The Get Up and READ campaign proved to be a wonderful experience for students across Miami-Dade County. Look for more exciting events, contests, and prizes in the 2008-2009 school year. The campaign will include activities for all students of Miami-Dade in grades K–12. The website will be updated and events will be posted in the near future.

Our goal is to have students reading for pleasure every day! Studies show that students who read books recreationally for at least 15 minutes each day do better in school.
